Setting up your Trezor hardware wallet ensures that your cryptocurrencies and digital assets remain safe. Follow this detailed guide to get started with your Trezor device using trezor.io/start.
✅ Step 1: Unbox Your Trezor Device
When you receive your Trezor package, ensure the box is sealed. Inside, you’ll find:
- Trezor Model One or Model T device
- USB cable
- Recovery seed cards
- Instruction manual
💻 Step 2: Connect Your Trezor to Your Computer
- Plug your Trezor into your computer using the provided USB cable.
- The device screen will power on and display a lock icon and a welcome message.
🌐 Step 3: Go to Trezor.io/Start
- Open your web browser and visit trezor.io/start.
- Choose your device:
- Trezor Model One
- Trezor Model T
- Download and install the Trezor Suite application for your operating system (Windows, macOS, or Linux).
🔄 Step 4: Install Firmware
- Connect your device and open the Trezor Suite app.
- The app will prompt you to install the latest firmware.
- Click Install and wait for the process to complete.
